Where we started
Aimex Foods Inc. was founded in Calgary, Alberta in 1989 by Dave Rae, a veteran of the Canadian meat industry. What began as a local importing operation has grown into a wholesale supplier serving distributors, retailers, processors and food-service operators across the country.
Today the company is led by a team with more than 110 years of combined industry experience — people who know the product, the packers and the paperwork.
What we do
We import and distribute wholesale meat: beef, poultry, pork, lamb, goat, veal, bison, elk, processed meats and pet-food ingredients. Halal, organic, natural and antibiotic-free (ABF) programs are available across categories.
Sourcing relationships with packers in Canada and abroad let us match your specification, origin and certification needs while keeping quality consistent and pricing competitive.
